CBC

A CBC, or Complete Blood Count, is a routine blood test that provides an overview of your overall health by counting and evaluating the main types of cells in your blood. It measures red blood cells (oxygen transport), white blood cells (infection fighting), and platelets (blood clotting), and also includes hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. A CBC is used to screen for various conditions like anemia and infection, monitor chronic illnesses, and track the effects of treatments like chemotherapy.
